Odinkalu, David Shuaibu, Others React To Tinubu’s Recent Video, Describes It As Old And Deceitful

Social media space has been engulfed with reactions following a video post by the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu, apparently undergoing physiotherapy.

In the video posted on his official Twitter handle, @officialABAT, the Presidential Candidate of the ruling party was seen riding on a machine.

Tinubu’s whose absence from public space had given rise to speculations about his health especially after he was nowhere to be found at the Peace Accord Signing Ceremony which held last week, and the postponed launch of the APC Presidential Campaign initially scheduled for the 28th of September, captioned his latest video, “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.

Well… Nope.

This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”

However, several pundits and social commentators have reacted to the video with some expressing doubts about the video, linking it to a previous picture of same Tinubu taken in January.

In a tweet by Former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Prof Chidi Odinkalu, Tinubu’s video speaks of desperation as it is from a previous orthopaedic procedure despite claims by Tinubu that his physical state is irrelevant as he is not running to be a bricklayer.

He wrote, “4 months ago, @officialABAT told us that his physical state was an irrelevance because he was running for president not running to be a brick-layer. Today, he is serving us desiccated clip of his physiotherapy program from previous orthopaedic procedure. This is beyond desperate.”

Another Twitter user, @ayemojubar, shared a photo of Tinubu in the UK on the 30th of January and established similarities with the recent video as he tried to establish that the said video was taken in January as against 2nd October when it was posted.

Another commentator, David Shuaibu on Facebook tagged the APC, Association of Pathological Criminals, as he shared two pictures of Tinubu from January and October 2022.

The All Progressives Congress and its Campaign organization is yet to respond to the allegations that the recently shared video of Tinubu was captured in January.
