Obra Legal Congratulates Ikechukwu Onuoma On Appointment Into NBA Law Firm/Institutional Mentorship Committee

Obra Legal law firm has felicitated with its Managing Partner, Ikechukwu Onuoma Esq on his appointment as a member of the newly constituted NBA Law Firm/Institutional Mentorship Committee.

Obra Legal which is one of Nigeria’s foremost litigation and commercial practice firms was founded by Chief (Mrs.) A. J. Offiah, SAN, a legal luminary of notable repute and the first female Senior Advocate of Nigeria, South-East of the Niger.

The firm has over the years dedicated ample time and resources to mentorship programmes for law students and young lawyers, enlightening and inculcating the rudiments of successful law firm practice in them.

The firm’s Mentorship programme which is directly supervised by Mr Ikechukwu Onuoma who serves as the firm’s Managing Partner is an attestation of his skillset in Mentorship and Law Firm Management which justifies his recent appointment by the Y.C. Maikyau SAN led NBA administration.

Ikechukwu Onuoma Esq has practiced widely and intensely. His practice areas include but not limited to Dispute Resolution, ICT, Energy and Natural Resources, Financial services and Election Petitions. Aside from litigation, his experience also covers International Commercial Arbitration. He is skilled and active in Negotiation and Arbitration. As a Certified Mediator, he has acted as a neutral in several disputes and listed in the panel of neutrals of the Enugu State Multidoor Court.

Ikechukwu is currently the Board secretary of African Development Foundation (the parent body of the prestigious Pan African University and Lagos Business school) and the Board Secretary of Wetland Foundation. He was the Nigerian representative 2018 at United Nations 56th session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD56). Professionally, he is the coordinator of UNIV Nigeria by ICU- Institute per la Cooperation Universitaria (Rome). He served as a member of the Enugu State Nigerian Bar Association Committee on Continuing Legal Education, Enugu State Land Committee Nigerian Bar Association Enugu, Alternate Chairman Enugu State Nigerian Bar Association Disciplinary Committee, Enugu State Nigerian Bar Association Building Committee. He is also a member of the Enugu State Judiciary Committee on ICT.
