Following the successful election of Oliver Omoredia as Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch, a key figure in his campaign team, Mr. Jibola Salvador, has issued a letter of appreciation to supporters, colleagues, and stakeholders who contributed to the victory.

In the letter released on Monday, Salvador, who served as Co-Director General of the Oliver Omoredia Campaign Team, described the win as a “collective achievement,” thanking members of the branch for rallying behind Omoredia’s vision of experience, creativity, and inclusive representation.
“This victory is not just Oliver’s — it is a collective achievement,” he said. “You rallied behind the ideals of experience, creativity, competence, and the amplification of voices within our great branch.”
He acknowledged the critical role played by supporters, including those who canvassed for votes, offered counsel, prayed, and turned out to vote in support of Omoredia during the highly anticipated elections.
Salvador also expressed confidence in Omoredia’s ability to deliver on the mandate entrusted to him. “As Oliver steps into this new role, we remain confident that he will serve with distinction, honouring the trust you have reposed in him,” he said.
He urged continued support for Omoredia as he assumes office, vowing that the campaign team would remain aligned with the values of service, accountability, and unity within the Lagos Branch.
Oliver Omoredia emerged victorious with 712 votes in the NBA Lagos Branch elections held on June 30, defeating his challenger, Bayo Olusanya, who polled 325 votes.
