*Set To Comply With Covid-19 Protocols

The Nigerian Law School has announced the full resumption of its academic calendar.

The announcement which is contained in a circular and signed by its Director-General, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma SAN, is titled ‘NOTICE OF RESUMPTION OF BAR PART 2 (RE-SIT) PROGRAMME, BAR PART 2 (REGULAR) 2020/2021 SET AND BAR PART 1 2021 SET’.

According to the circular, candidates for Bar part 2 (re-sit) are expected to report to the Abuja Campus of the Nigerian Law School on Monday, the 23rd of November, 2020, whereas, all other Bar part 2 (regular) candidates are expected to resume their academic activities at their respective campuses (Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yola, Yenogoa) on Monday, the 4th of January, 2021.

Candidates of Bar part 1 for the 2021 academic year are expected to also resume at the Abuja campus, on Monday, the 11th of January, 2021.

As part of its measures to also avoid the spread of the infamous Covid-19 pandemic, returning candidates are expected to note the following safeguards;

1) Students must wear their face mask to gain entrance to the campus.

2) Each student is required to come with;
a] face mask
b] 2 bottles of 500ml of hand washing liquid which must be submitted at the Students’ Affairs Office at the security post.

3) It is mandatory for students to wear face-mask on campus.

Thenigerialawyer recalls that the academic activities of the Nigerian Law School, as well as most tertiary institutions, were disrupted by the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, however, with the gradually easing off the lockdown restrictions and the containment of the virus, the Nigerian Law has once again fully resumed its activities.
