Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been declared winner in the polling unit of former Senate President, David Mark, located at the VIP Unit 01, GRA, Otukpo in Otukpo local government area of Benue State.

Obi scored 178 votes to defeat the All Progressive Congress candidate, Bola Tinubu, who polled 22 votes and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who scored 18 votes.

Our correspondent reports that the chant of Obi rend the air amidst the peaceful atmosphere as voting was generally peaceful, when INEC officials counted and declared the presidential election results, with many young people celebrating.
