Eleven patients, who tested positive for coronavirus in Nigeria, have been discharged on Saturday after recovering from the disease.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the new recoveries in its update for May 29, 2021.
With the latest figure, the country’s total number of discharged patients increased to 156,557.
The agency also reported 31 new COVID infections in five states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
According to the breakdown, Lagos recorded the most cases with 15 new positive samples, followed by Gombe with 5, and Akwa Ibom with 4.
Other states that recorded new infections include FCT (3), Kaduna (2) and Kwara (2).
For the fourth consecutive day, no new death was reported on Saturday.
Out of a total of 166,285 confirmed coronavirus cases across Nigeria, 2,071 patients have died.
