The Hon. President of the Court, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Benedict kanyip, PhD, FNIALS upon his swearing-in as the substantive President of the Industrial Court in December 2019 and during his tours to the Northern region saw the need to do everything possible for Gombe and Bauchi Judicial divisions to operate in full capacity to enhance the economic fortune of the region and to give succour to labour and industrial related disputes.
Thus, in fulfilment of the Hon. President’s commitment to bring justice closer to the populace, one of the quintessential jurists, His Lordship, Hon. His Lordship posited that the era of counsel and litigants travelling from Gombe and Bauchi States to neighbouring Plateau State for court sittings in pursuit of justice has now become a thing of the past.
