The Nigerian Bar Association, Onitsha branch has yet again won the 2019 NBA AGC football tournament, sealing the victory three times in a row.

Onitsha branch defeated Lagos branch 4-3 on penalties in the final of the men’s football event at 59th Annual General Conference in Lagos.

A shootout was required to separate the holders of the trophy following a 3-3 draw after 110 minutes of play at Methodist Boys High School, 11 Sinari Daranijo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Onitsha branch which is the defending champion successfully defended the trophy by winning the 2019 edition.

The feat shows that so far football at the bar is concerned, Onitsha branch is the lead-branch.

Congratulations to NBA Onitsha for winning the trophy.
