The Chairman Nigerian Bar Association Security Agencies Intervention Committee and Pioneer Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest Litigation Committee, Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama SAN has 20th December, 2021 argued the application in the case instituted by the Nigerian Bar Association against the Attorney General of the Federation, the Nigerian Police Force and the Police Service Commission (PSC).

It might be recalled that on the 26th day of January 2021, one Omotola Olajide was dismissed from the Nigerian Police Force for being pregnant while unmarried.

The eminent learned Silk, Chief J-K Gadzama SAN magnanimously volunteered to diligently lead the NBA team saddled with this humanitarian task to champion the cause of not only Omotola Olajide but all unmarried women in service against the discriminatory practices which infringed on their rights.

After series of proceedings, the Federal High Court has today reserves Judgment in the matter to February 21, 2022.
