As part of activities to celebrate the retiring Chief Judge of Kwara State, His Lordship Hon. Justice Sulyman D. Kawu OFR., a Life-Bencher, after meritorious service in office to the nation, a book has been slated for a launch with Prof. Abiodun Amuda-Kannike SAN, who is the Dean, Faculty of Law, Kwara State University, and Associate Prof. Hanafi Adekunle Hammed, a legal practitioner and lecturer as Editors-in-Chief.

The book collaboratively published by University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Kwara State University (KWASU), Al-Hikmah University and Nigerian Bar Association (Ilorin Branch) with title; “Current Issues in Law, Justice and Society: Essays in honour of Hon. Justice Sulyman D. Kawu OFR; Chief Judge of Kwara State” involves different areas of law such as Public Law, Private Law, International Law, Environmental Law, Economic Law, Human Rights Law, Corporate Laws Arbitration, Islamic Laws among lots of others.

Editors include Prof. Hakeem Ijaiya, Prof. Kayode Adam, Associate Prof. Yahya Duro Uthman, and Dr. Maryam Bayero-Jimoh. Others are Mrs. Olawoyin Ibijoke, Olabisi Kamaldeen Gambari, Esq., Taofiq Olateju Esq. and Ahmed Abiodun Muhammed-Mikaaeel Esq.
