The Chairman of NBA Ukwa Bar Elder Chima Ejie have announced the postponement of the Branch’s Monthly meeting earlier scheduled to hold on Friday the 27th day of March 2020.

The Chairman Elder Chima Ejie made this known earlier today the 25th day of March 2020.

The Chairman in his message to the Branch WhatsApp group wrote as follows.

‘In view of the consensus of members, our March meeting shall not hold as scheduled.

Our general meeting now stands adjourned to Friday, 24th April, 2020.

May the good Lord keep all of us, our loved ones, families, friends and colleagues safe as we ride through this storm’

Considering that the NBA is on it’s election year and that Ukw Bar is not left out in the politicking, the Chairman added The following to his message postponing the meeting.

‘After consulting with my exco we have agreed that for the purposes of qualifications for the forthcoming election all registered members are deemed to have attended the meeting. The implication is that if this meeting would have made the person to be qualified to vote then the person shall stand qualified as this month shall be counted for such a person’
