The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) has extended the deadline for registered delegates to notify the organisers of their flight arrangements for the free airport pick-up and drop-off service for its 2026 Annual Conference.

Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee, Sir Ejike Ezenwa, SAN, FCArb, announced that the notification deadline, which expired on November 1, 2026, has been extended to Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The extension gives registered delegates who have not yet finalised their flight reservations additional time to do so and forward their travel details to the Conference Planning Committee.

Ezenwa said the extension does not affect the previously announced airport transportation schedule.

According to him, delegates arriving through Enugu, Port Harcourt and Uyo airports will be picked up on November 9, 2026, while return transportation from Umuahia to the respective airports will take place on November 13.

“The free Airport Pick-up and Drop-off package for delegates covers arrival on 9th November, 2026 and departure on 13th November, 2026,” he said.

NBA-SPIDEL therefore urged delegates intending to take advantage of the complimentary transport arrangement to make their flight bookings immediately and notify the CPC before the new November 4 deadline.

Delegates are required to send their flight details to the CPC Secretary, Dr Lillian Ojimma, by telephone or WhatsApp on +234 803 330 8954.

The committee had earlier asked registered participants requiring airport transportation to make their flight reservations and notify the secretary before the initial November 1 deadline.

With the extension, delegates now have until November 4 to indicate their travel arrangements, while the dates for airport pick-up and return transportation remain unchanged.

The arrangements form part of preparations for the NBA-SPIDEL 2026 Annual Conference, with the Section seeking to ease movement for participants travelling through the three designated airports.

Registration for the conference remains available through the NBA-SPIDEL conference portal, while additional information can be obtained from the Section’s official website. NBA-SPIDEL describes itself as the Nigerian Bar Association’s section focused on public interest and development law.
