In a statement issued by the NBA’s Assistant General Secretary, Henry Barnabas Ehi, lawyers are encouraged to follow an eight-step process through the NBA portal to ensure a smooth application process.

Application Steps

  1. Login: Visit the NBA portal at https://portal.nigerianbar.org.ng.
  2. Navigate to Payment: Select “Payment” and click on “Stamp & Seal.”
  3. Order Packs: Choose the desired number of stamp packs.
  4. Select Practice Category: Indicate “Public” or “Private.”
  5. Upload Branch Dues Receipt: Submit proof of branch dues payment (max file size: 1MB).
  6. Proceed to Payment: Complete the required payment.
  7. Application Status: Ensure your status updates to “Pending Review.”

Cost Breakdown

  • Pack of 96 stamps (4 sheets): ₦7,000
  • Pack of 48 stamps (2 sheets): ₦4,000
  • Pack of 24 stamps (1 sheet): ₦2,000

  • Applications are reviewed before approval.
  • Incorrect uploads will lead to rejection, and re-uploads will be required.
  • Approved applicants will receive notifications, and their branches will distribute the stamps upon delivery.
