The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has disclosed that it has commenced the provision of her LawPavilion initiative for Young Lawyers.
This is contained in a statement signed by the NBA National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kunle Edun which was made available to TheNigeriaLawyer.
Furthermore, it was disclosed that in the first batch of this provision, 6,500 Lawyers are beneficiaries urging them to all check their verified email addresses.
Besides, it was noted that the second phase would continue tomorrow, 1st July, 2020 and further stating that there shall be an extension of one year for those who have a current subscription with Law Pavilion.
The statement reads:
The first phase of the provision of “LawPavilion Electronic Law Reports and Legal Research Software Licenses to Young Lawyers who had paid their Bar practise fee on or before 31st of March, 2020” by the Paul Usoro led administration of the Nigerian Bar Association was carried out today.
The first batch of 6,500 young lawyers were sent their log in details via their verified email addresses.The second phase will continue tomorrow. Beneficiaries of this 1 (one) year free subscription are further enjoined to check the spam folders of their email accounts for their log in details.
Eligible young lawyers who have running Lawpavilion subscriptions will have their subscriptions extended by an additional 1 (one) year.
Young lawyers (and indeed all lawyers) who are yet to get verified on the NBA portal are urged to do so by visiting – https://nigerianbar.org.ng/membership-portal.
