The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Awka Branch, popularly known as the “Capital Bar” has congratulated the new leadership of NBA on their inauguration.

This is contained in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) signed by the Branch Chairman, Ekene Okonkwo Esq.

He said: “The Nigerian Bar Association Awka Branch gladly felicitates with the new President of the Nigerian Bar Association (PNBA), Olumide Akpata, Esq. and the other national officers of NBA on their successful inauguration into office on Friday 29.08.2020.”

Okonkwo said the Branch is particularly glad that among the new national officers is its member, Nnamdi Agor, who happens to be the national financial secretary. He assures the new national leadership of the Branch’s support

“We are particularly elated and proud that one of our own in the person of Nnamdi Raphael Anagor, Esq. is the new national Financial Secretary. We assure the PNBA and his team of our unflinching support and prayers in their onerous task to, not only move the NBA forward, but build a more united, virile, vibrant, responsive and professional body.
