The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja branch has sent their condolences message to the family of His Lordship, Justice Valentine Ashi.

This was contained in a notice signed by the Chairman of the branch, Folarin Aluko, and sighted by TheNigerialawyer (TNL).
According to him “The Members and Executives of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch condole with my Lord, family of His Lordship, Justice Valentine Ashi, the Honorable the Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, the FCT Judiciary and the FCT Legal Community on the sudden and untimely demise of His Lordship, Justice Valentine Ashi.
May the good Lord grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss. May His gentle soul Rest In Peace in the bosom of the Almighty God.
Hon. Justice V.B Ashi hails from Obudu Local Govt Area of Cross River State.
He was called to Bar in 1987 and completed his National Youth Service the following year. He was in active law practice for sometimes.
He became a Lecturer at the Nigerian Law School in 2001 where he remained until his appointed as a Judge in the FCT High Court, Abuja in 2010.
He is married and his hobbies include reading and writing.
