*Award Conferred In Recognition Of His Service To The Branch

The Chairman of the NBA Welfare Committee and a NBA Presidential Candidate, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau SAN has been honoured with the Award of outstanding service to the Bar at the Annual Dinner of the NBA Abuja (Unity Bar) branch held as part of its Law Week 2022.

The very cerebral Silk, whose philanthropic strides and unflinching dedication to the advancement of the Branch and the legal profession as a whole was recognized for his selfless service and raising Bar.

The award presentation to the celebrated Silk was greeted with a loud ovation by members of the Branch.

The occasion afforded Mr Maikyau the opportunity to wine and dine with members of his Branch in an atmosphere of merriment and gaiety, even as he appreciated the branch for deeming him worthy of the award, and promised to do more in service to the bar.
