The Abuja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (Unity Bar) has announced the demise of one of its member, Dr. Aliyu Usman, who, until his demise, was the Abuja Branch Chairman of Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN)

This is contained in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer signed by its Publicity Secretary, Olatunji Atoyebi, Esq.

According to the Branch, Usman died on February 27, 2021, and will be buried on Sunday, February 28

Notice of Demise of Dr. Aliyu Usman Imam, Esq.

It is with a heavy heart that the Executives of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), announce the demise of Dr. Aliyu Usman Imam, Esq. Until his demise on the 27th February, 2021, he was the Chairman of Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN), Abuja Branch.

Dr. Imam will be buried according to Islamic rites today, Sunday 28th February, 2021. His Janazah will commence at his family resident at Yamadawa, Dorayi Babba by Gidan Dorayi, behind BUK Old Site, Gwale, Kano State.

We pray God grants him eternal rest and to us the fortitude to bear this loss.
