Despite the warnings and jingles discouraging Nigerians from these platforms by the government their rise continues unchecked for only last week MMM became the most visited site in Nigeria trouncing the usual suspects which include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linda Ikeji Socials. And to spite a regime that has threatened to arrest its conveners, MMM went on a humanitarian spree distributing 5 Million Naira worth of relief materials to IDPs making a mockery of the government’s desire to clamp down on their activities. One can neither encourage nor discourage a people desperate for wealth to escape the recession. However if one strikes it big it’s only the greed of an addicted gambler that will make one fail to invest in more conventional business ventures with the proceeds of this scheme thus one must have a fall back plan at all times. President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians for he lacks a backbone of steel, promising much but offering little hence common Nigerians have no choice but to help themselves by instituting their own form of wealth redistribution. Thus as the Junketeer in Chief continues his endless travels, Nigerians look for every means under the sun to survive. Who can blame them as we look on praying whereas the recession marches on.
