The School of Alternative Dispute Resolution (SADR) is now accepting enrollments for its upcoming Certificate Course in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Skills.

The virtual training program, scheduled from October 2nd to 31st, 2024, will equip participants with essential skills in various areas of alternative dispute resolution.

The course is designed to cater to a wide range of professionals, including legal practitioners, business owners, managers, HR personnel, and other interested individuals. Participants will receive comprehensive instruction in mediation advocacy, restorative justice, mediation skills, negotiation, and arbitration.

The program will be conducted virtually, with lectures held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4 pm daily. To supplement the live sessions, participants will have access to a Learning Management System, recorded videos, and discussion boards.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Additionally, they will be accredited as Associate Mediation Advocates/Advisors by the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA) in the United Kingdom.

The course fee is set at ₦165,000 (One Hundred and Sixty-Five Thousand Naira). Interested individuals can register by visiting the SADR website and following the enrollment instructions. Payments should be made to the School of Alternative Dispute Resolution’s Zenith Bank account (Account Number: 1229025553).

It is worth noting that lawyers who complete training programs offered by SADR earn credit points from the Nigerian Bar Association’s Institute of Continuing Legal Education, as the school is an approved service provider.

SADR is recognized by the Nigerian Council for Management Development (NCMD) and is an affiliate of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA UK), a global leader in mediation advocacy. The SCMA is one of the few organizations worldwide accredited by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) to train and accredit Mediation Advocates and Advisors.
