Minor Fire Outbreak At Aregbesola’s Office Causes Panic

There was minor fire incident at the office of Governor Rauf Aregbesola on Monday. The fire was caused by one of the air-conditioners in the office which gutted in fire as a result of electricity spark from it. The Media Adviser to Governor Aregbesola, Sola Fasure, confirmed the incident to independent. He said that fire sparked off at around 4pm, adding that Governor Aregbesola was not in office when it actually occurred Fasure who explained that nobody sustained any injury as a result of the fire outbreak stressed that the fire was put under control by the emergency fire extinguisher mounted in the premises. The Media Adviser said further that the state fire service men however complemented the quenching of the fire adding that no much damage was done to files and other important documents in the office. Eyewitness account revealed that the state deputy governor, Mrs Grace Titilayo and other top government functionaries supervised the quenching of the fire with men of the fire service.]]>
