The upcoming inauguration ceremony of Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN as the 12th President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) will be marked by the attendance of high-profile government and industry leaders.

In a statement issued by Olayemi John-Mensah, ACCI Media/Strategy Officer, it was stated that among the prominent guests are Barr Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and Mrs. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment. Members of the diplomatic community have also confirmed their participation
The February 8th induction comes up every three years, facilitating the smooth change in ACCI’s leadership. Chief Obegolu assumed his role as President on December 14th, 2023 after being elected by the Chamber’s governing body.
As head of ACCI, Chief Obegolu currently leads the Organised Private Sector in Abuja. He brings over three decades of experience as a distinguished legal practitioner and mediator.
The occasion also marks the inauguration of ACCI’s Executive Council, Trade Group Chairmen and Governing Council members.
ACCI remains committed to advancing commerce, business collaboration and innovation across the FCT – a vision that will be reinforced during the proceedings.
