The Madonna University Alumni Association, Rivers State Chapter is in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to fight against the abuse of drugs.

The Chairman of the Chapter, Ogbom Goodluck Ogbom, informed TheNigerialawyer that the program is part of their social corporate responsibility and it is geared toward getting rid of drug abuse in the society, sensitizing the general public on the dangers of drug abuse and also sustaining the war against drug abuse (WADA),
“We are set to stage a road walk titled “Walk Away From Drug Abuse & Crime”.
“The exercise is billed to hold on the 4 December 2021 by 7 am which will herald the annual dinner by 2 pm on the same day at Lesukka event center, Odili road, Port Harcourt.”
Ogbom Goodluck Ogbom, also added that the muster point for the exercise is SPAR shopping mall at Azikiwe road, Port Harcourt, to terminate in Port Harcourt prison where gift items will also be donated.
