The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) has announced the opening of applications for the conferment of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) for the year 2025.

In a statement yesterday, November 2nd, by HAJO SARKI BELLO, ESQ., Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court/Secretary, LPPC, qualified legal practitioners are invited to apply online through the LPPC’s official application portal, lppconline.com, starting at 12:00 am on November 1, 2024
The LPPC mandates that all applicants pay a non-refundable fee of N1,000,000 to designated accounts under the LPPC’s name, after which they should upload proof of payment on the application portal to receive confirmation before moving forward with the process. Both advocate and academic candidates are required to submit clear copies of all mandatory documents online, with academic applicants also required to submit seven hard copies of their Curriculum Vitae.
Following the online submission, the closing date for online applications is 12:00 noon on January 31, 2025. Applicants must deliver five flash drives containing a completed application form and required documents to the LPPC Secretariat by 4:00 pm on February 3, 2025. Submissions made after this deadline will not be considered.
The LPPC has emphasized that failure to meet any of the submission requirements will result in application rejection.
