The Branch today began its 2022 Bar Week, which will run till 5th June.
She said; “Looking at your theme: “Democracy, Electoral process and the paradigm of Change in Nigeria“, I see that you are set to incisively discuss issues that are particularly pertinent now that electoral processes have begun in earnest for the next political dispensation. I congratulate you on this theme.
“For the dividends of democracy to be enjoyed by the people, we must ensure that the nation’s entire electoral process is structured in such a way that the wishes and desires of the people are respected and so the people will feel the impact of good governance.
“Anything short of this is anti people. It therefore gladdens the heart that NBA Makurdi is set to robustly discuss these issues.
“I wish you well dear colleagues. May your deliberations be fruitful and may it impact the nation positively.
