We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Librarian

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an inventory of all the books in the Library.
  • Maintain a register for comming and outgoing books in the Library.
  • Ensure that any library material is regularly and promptly updated.
  • Ensure that all books signed out are returned at the end of every day and properly shelved.
  • Ensure that all books are neat, tidy, properly indexed, properly shelved, handled, properly safeguarded , and kept in good condition and that torn books are bound.
  • Research on, gather and circulate relevant online legal and judicial news especially those relevant to MI’s core areas of legal practice and email to all the staff on a daily basis.
  • Organise files in and maintain a register for files in the File Registry.
  • Perform all other ancillary functions as may be necessary.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in related fields with 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
