Former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch, Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN, FCIArb(UK), has extended warm congratulations to Alex Edim, Esq., and members of the newly elected executive of the NBA Nyanya-Karu Branch.

In a goodwill message, Akangbe described the election of Edim and his team as well-deserved, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver purposeful leadership and uphold the values of the legal profession.

“This new chapter offers an opportunity to build on past gains, foster unity within the Bar, and elevate the voice of the Branch in matters that shape our profession and society,” he said.

Acknowledging the challenges that come with leadership, Akangbe encouraged the new executives to serve with “wisdom, transparency, and a genuine commitment to service.”

He expressed hope that the new tenure would be marked by progress, impactful advocacy, and a strengthened sense of purpose among members of the Branch.

“As you settle into office, may your tenure be marked by progress, impactful advocacy, and a deepened sense of purpose among members of the Branch,” he said.

Akangbe concluded by pledging his full support to the new team, wishing them a successful tenure that brings honour to the Nyanya-Karu Bar.
