The promoters of Lawyers Table Tennis Open( Mfon Usoro cup) have announced that the 2021 finals of the biggest sporting event among Lawyers in Nigeria will hold on the 9th of October 2021 at the Nigerian Table Tennis Federation (NTTF)Hall, National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.

According to Cynthia Mafolomi, arrangements have been concluded with the NTTF to enable lawyers to train and practice every Saturday from the 21st of August until the preliminaries commence.

Yahaya Olarewaju and Titilayo Osagie are the defending Champions for the male and female categories respectively.

The event in open to both male and female Lawyers.

The event which began in 2009 has been held every year except 2020 because of the impact of the Covid- 19 pandemic. In 2010 the female competition which today has a higher prize was introduced by the organizers.

Since its inception, millions of Naira have been won in the event including tickets to international destinations, books, medals, trophies, and Table Tennis rackets.

The entry fee for male participants is N3000 while that of female participants is free having been sponsored in advance.
Registration closes on the 30th of August 2021.
