*Says Fada Mento Mobilized Online Mob to Accuse Client Over Child’s Death

A legal practitioner, Nnenna Opara Esq., has written to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 9 Headquarters in Umuahia, accusing Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ehioma aka Fada Mento, of threatening the life of her client, Mrs Rose Osueke and her children.
In the letter dated January 10th, Opara stated that Osueke recently lost her daughter after childbirth and was still mourning when Ehioma allegedly began mobilizing miscreants online, falsely accusing Osueke of killing her late daughter.
The lawyer further alleged that Ehioma threatened the life of Osueke’s son Uchenna, warning him not to return to Nigeria or he would be eliminated.
Opara urged the AIG Zone 9 to swiftly investigate the “criminal allegations” and prosecution of Ehioma before he carries out his threats which has left her clients living in fear.
The accusations against the Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ehioma include false murder allegations, threat to life and property, criminal intimidation and defamation among others.
Opara warned that if any harm comes to Mrs Osueke and her family members, Rev Ehioma and his cohorts should be held responsible.
Police authorities are yet to comment on the development.

We are a firm of Legal Practitioners whose services have been retained by Mrs. Rose Osueke & Children, who shall herein after be referred to as ”Our Clients” and on whose instruction we write.
Sir, our clients lost their daughter Mrs. Chinwe Ikechukwu (Nee Osueke) on the 8th day of January, 2024 at the Salvation Hospital & Maternity, Owerri Imo state 12 days after her delivery through caesarean.
Sir, while our clients were still in shock and mourning over the untimely/sudden death of their daughter, the suspects (Rev. Emmanuel Ehioma & Cohorts) who have been looking for an avenue to mobilize some criminal to attack the complainants began to mobilise some miscreant through various media platform and online stating that our clients killed their daughter Mrs. Chinwe Ikechukwu (Nee Osueke). The suspects (Rev. Emmanuel Ehioma & Cohorts) did not stop at that, they have started mobilising and inciting some persons to carryout their criminal arrangement of
eliminating the complainants Mrs. Rose Osueke and her Children. In one of the messages the suspect (Rev. Emmanuel Ehioma) forwarded to one of the complainants Mr. Uchenna Osueke who is residing in Europe, the suspect (Rev. Emmanuel Ehioma) he categorically told him that he should not try to come back to Nigeria because he definitely eliminates him.
Therefore, we write to formally report this obvious case of threat to the life of the complainants by the above-named suspects and urgently appeal to the Inspector General of Police to use your good office to order for detail investigation into this criminal allegation so as to stop the suspects from carrying out their threats of killing the complainants or any member of his family.
Finally Sir, may we inform you that since the suspects Rev. Emmanuel Ehioma & Cohorts issued these various threat, the complainants Mrs. Rose Osueke and members of her family have been living in palpable fear and anxiety and cannot move freely. My clients (the complainants Mrs. Rose Osueke and members of her family) informed me that if anything happen to them, the suspects Rev. Emmanuel Ehioma & Cohorts shall be held responsible.
Sir, we write to formally report the above case of false accusation of murder, threat to life & property, criminal intimidation, criminal defamatory, cyber bullying, perpetrating acts capable of causing arson/ breach of public peace and urge your office to investigate, arrest and prosecute the suspect, so as to protect our Clients.
