A. A. Samuel has again written to the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) requesting them to reconsider his protest against the qualification of Kunle Edun to run for the position of the Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association during its July 2020.

This is contained in a letter addressed to the ECNBA and made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL)

Samuel said he could not find any provision in the Electoral Guidelines prohibiting the ECNBA from investigating Kunle Edun for presenting false information to the Committee.

He insisted that ECNBA should demand for proof of appointment of Kunle Edun as NEC Member.

“Assuming but not conceding that the he was appointed NEC member by A.B. Mahmud SAN administration (which by now we all know he was not), he was not even qualified to run for PRO as he was not up to 2 years as a NEC member.” Samuel said
