The Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) has commiserated with victims of the recent fire incident at the Kano campus of the Nigerian Law School.

The sad fire incident, which reportedly affected one of the hostels, was said to have occurred at about 10.30 p.m. on Thursday 13th of February, according to the statement by the school.

The LAWSAN President, Emmanuel Nwobodo, in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) says: “While we remain thankful that no life was lost, several valuable properties were however lost in the process.

We therefore extend our sympathy and commiseration to the students, for the traumatic and shocking encounter.

“May the Lord Almighty protect and safeguard us all in our academic endeavors.”
