Judicial Council of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), will be honoring Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, SAN, with the SAN’s Prize For Best Dressed Advocate”.

This was disclosed in an appeal letter signed by the Chief Justice of LAWSAN, Justice Balogun Sofiyullahi, OOL, and made available to TheNigeriaLaywer.
In the letter, the Council is also requesting the Learned Silk to sponsor the Best Dressed Student Advocate in the forthcoming LAWSAN convention at Nassarawa State University, Keffi.
It noted with great respect and humility the ever supporting disposition of the Learned Silk to LAWSAN, expressing hope that he would graciously consider their appeal.
Mr. Adegboruwa has earned commendations from Lawyers and Judges across the country for his neat and smart appearances in Court, especially his unique bib and collar, which have become his signature.
The Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) is an umbrella body of law across the country. It is the largest law Students body in Africa.
It usually holds an annual convention where Law students’ across different law Faculties converge to elect new leaders and engage in academic seminars amongst others.
In a bid to promote advocacy spirit amongst Nigerian Law students, it usually organized Moot Court Competition for Faculties of law during the convention to show-case the expertise of student Advocates and reward their excellence.
In a letter addressed to Learned Silk, the award for the Best Dressed Student Advocate is tagged “EBUN-OLU ADEGBORUWA, SAN’s PRIZE FOR BEST DRESSED ADVOCATE” hence they deemed it necessary to solicit his sponsorship of the award.
This year’s Convention is scheduled to hold in Nassarawa State from 31st October, 2021 to 2nd November, 2021. The theme of the Convention is “STRONGER TOGETHER”
