The President of the Nigerian Law Students Association of Nigeria, Emmanuel Nwobodo, was at the University of Calabar, Cross River State, on Friday 6th of December, 2019 to attend a town hall meeting.
Based on the information made available to TheNigerianLawyer (TNL) by Umoh Edet, the National Director Of Policies, Programs And Projects of LAWSAN, the event was preceded by a TV interview at the Cross River Broadcasting Corporation which had the National LAWSAN President; Senator Emmanuel Nwobodo, the UniCal LAWSAN President; Senator Etaba Agbor, The NDOPP Head of Communication and Strategy; Miss Leson-Foster Sonka Queensley and the South-South Zonal Campus Coordinator; Williams Emmanuel as guests and they enlightened the people about the need for a town hall meeting as well as other activities pertaining to LAWSAN.
The town hall meeting took place at the Moot Court Complex and was well attended by the students. It was a very interactive session as the President not only made his plans known but also listened to the suggestions of Lawsanites.
The National Director of Policies, Programs, and Projects also used to opportunity to enlighten Lawsanites on the various packages set up for the benefit of the LAWSAN community.
The town hall meeting is to hold at all zones and Lawsanites are encouraged to be in attendance.
