The Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) has Commended the governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, for sponsoring about 69 law school aspirants from the state.

The position of LAWSAN, under the leadership of Emmanuel Nwobodo, was made known by Munir Shuaibu Ishaq, the National Director of the Directorate of Students’ Rights in a press statement dated 16th of January, 2020 and made available to TheNigeraLawyer (TNL).

Munir says:

“This is a giant stride by the Yobe State Government in ameliorating the plight of Law School Students who cannot afford the humongous law school fee; it is a step in the right direction and one worthy of emulation”

LAWSAN, therefore, urges other states to do the same to its indigenes aspiring to join the Nigerian Law School.
