It is for his “invaluable contributions to the academia and the development of the legal profession.” The SAN is the author of the popular book: S.T Hon’s Law of Evidence. The Society president, Mr. Fajulugbe Oluwatosimin, who led nine other officials, praised Hon for his contributions to the development of the law and legal practice in Nigeria. He said his books, advocacy in court and opinion on public matters are always a reference point. Hon was also invested as the Soceity’s Grand Patron. The law students also plan to host a national moot court competition among university law faculties in Hon’s honour. There was a question and answer session in which members of the delegation asked questions on the legal profession and secret’s of Hon’s success. The SAN praised the students for traveling all the way to Abuja to honour him. He urged the to work hard and stay focused if they must succeeed. The excited students said they were happy to meet with their mentor in flesh and blood.
