Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe has lauded the Eastern Bar Forum of the Nigerian Bar Association for organizing a colloquium focused on Nigeria’s federalism and state legislative powers.
The event, themed “Nigeria’s Federalism & State Legislative Powers: Current Matters Viewed from a Sub-National Perspective,” aims to foster productive discussions on the challenges and opportunities within the country’s federal system.
In a statement released on Friday, Akangbe expressed his warm wishes to the Eastern Bar Forum, emphasizing the significance of the gathering in providing a platform for insightful deliberations. He conveyed his confidence that the discussions would inspire meaningful contributions toward strengthening governance at the sub-national level.
