” A bill which was read for the second time had sought to include Apapa, GRA, Ikoyi among others as parts of areas that tenancy law would affect.
This is to be known as “A Bill For A Law to Amend the Relationship Between Tenant and the owner of the property Bill, 2019.”
Chairman of the House Committee on Housing, Hon. Ibrahim Layode, stated that the amendment “specifies on the agreement between the landlord and the tenant.
It talks about advance payment between the landlord and the tenant.
