The Chief Judge of Kwara State, Hon. Justice S. D. Kawu has constituted and inaugurated the Rules of Court Advisory Committee consisting of:-

The Committee was constituted pursuant to Order 56, Rule 10 Kwara State High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2005 and in exercising the power conferred on the Chief Judge under Section 274 Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and Section 116 High Court Law, Laws of Kwara State.
His Lordship considered the view that it’s most imperative at this time to bring into conclusion the review of the 2005 Kwara State High Court Civil Procedure Rules which started way back in November 2008.
The main term of reference of the Committee is to update the draft made from the 2005 Rules of the State High Court in line with the emerging challenges in the Administration of Justice in Kwara State.
