Kim Kardashian-West has already made it clear she is not a fan of fast fashion brands copying her designs and now she has nearly $3 million to back her up. The reality television star won a suit against Missguided USA, TMZ reported Wednesday. She initially filed the suit back in February.

The judge concluded, “Missguided has repeatedly used Kardashian West’s name and likeness without permission on its social media platforms to promote the sale of its clothing.”

The court also found that the fast fashion retailer had a page dedicated to Kardashian-inspired look–as well as using photos of 38-year-old, suggesting that the entrepreneur was associated with the brand.

Missguided USA reportedly never responded to Kardashian West’s lawsuit, so by default judgment, the judge awarded her $2.7 million in damages and another $60,000 in attorneys’ fees from Missguided USA.

Kardashian West previously sounded off on Twitter in February against Fashion Nova, another fast-fashion brand, after they allegedly “knocked off” the star’s “one-of-a-kind vintage Mugler dress.”

“It’s devastating to see these fashion companies rip off designs that have taken the blood, sweat and tears of true designers who have put their all into their own original ideas,” she tweeted at the time.

“I’ve watched these companies profit off my husband’s work for years and now that it’s also affecting designers who have been so generous to give me access to their beautiful works, I can no longer sit silent,” Kardashian West added.

“Only two days ago, I was privileged enough to wear a one-of-a-kind vintage Mugler dress and in less than 24 hours it was knocked off and thrown up on a site – but it’s not for sale. You have to sign up for a waitlist because the dress hasn’t even been made to sell yet,” she wrote in response to Fashion Nova’s dress.

“My relationships with designers are very important to me. It’s taken me over a decade to build them and I have a huge amount of respect for the amount of work that they put into bringing their ideas to life,” Kardashian West wrote. “I often plan for weeks, sometimes months, and even a year in advance, and I’m grateful for every fashion moment those designers and their dresses have helped me create.”

She concluded: “So, as always, don’t believe everything you read and see online. I don’t have any relationships with these sites. I’m not leaking my looks to anyone, and I don’t support what these companies are doing.”

Fashion Nova responded to Kardashian West’s Twitter tirade with this statement: “Kim Kardashian West is one of the top fashion icons in that world that our customers draw inspiration from.”

“However, we have not worked with Kim Kardashian West directly on any of her projects but have been driven by her influential style,” the statement added.

The war between the one-of-a-kind fashion enthusiast and fast fashion brands was first brought to light when Kardashian West posted a photo of herself in a metallic gold ensemble saying, “P.S. fast fashion brands, can you please wait until I wear this in real life before you knock it off?”
