Barely 48 hours after Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje installed four new Emirs, the dust it generated is yet to settle, as the Association of Royal families (Matasan Gidan Dabo), on Sunday, expressed disappointment, over what they described as an unhealthy development.

At the 10th anniversary of the association and breaking of fast held at the Kano Emirate Council, Secretary-General of the association, Alhaji Aminu Yusuf Bayero, said, the association had resigned to fate, charging members, residents to remain calm and work toward moving the state to another level.

“What happened is really a disaster to us and we Muslims take it as part of our destiny; that is what Almighty Allah said. We pray and hope that such does not happen again.

The message for the entire people in the state is just for us to remain calm, not to engage in anything that will destroy the state, remain prayerful and hope that God will intervene.’’
