Three new cases of the novel coronavirus have been confirmed today in Lagos.
2 out of the three cases were returning from travel and one is a contact of a confirmed case.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), confirmed this on Sunday evening, noting that two of the cases are returning travellers while the other one is a contact of a confirmed case.
The federal capital territory (FCT) recorded one new case of the coronavirus on Sunday.
The NCDC announced this via its Twitter handle.

This brings to 30 the total number of confirmed cases of the infection in Nigeria — with four of them in Abuja and 22 in Lagos.
Ogun has two cases while Ekiti and Oyo has one each.
There have been no record of the death from the disease in the country so far.
The World Health Organisation said there are over 1,000 cases of the virus across 42 countries in Africa currently.
