A leading banking institution seeking a mid to senior level banking and finance lawyer.

Job Title: In House Banking & litigation Lawyer

Location: Office-based, Lagos

The role:
*Drafting, amending, negotiating, and advising in respect of confidentiality agreements, support letters, mandate letters, term sheets, and other relevant documentation;
*Managing the provision of external legal support to ensure that external advisers are duly and appropriately appointed, that advisers understand the Bank’s risk appetite and that the Bank can place appropriate reliance on them;
*Provision of both commercially and legally sound advice;
*Ensure that legal documentation entered into by the Bank is appropriate;

About you:
Candidates are expected to be qualified lawyers with a round 10-15 years plus a background in lending, banking or finance transactions. Furthermore candidates should have leading city law firm training/experience with excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
