The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said it is investigating six accredited Computer-Based Tests (CBT) centres for alleged exploitation of candidates in its ongoing registration.

The board announced this in the Weekly Bulletin of the Office of the Registrar yesterday in Abuja.

JAMB said the action followed reports from its monitoring team, which had been going round the country to assess the conduct of the 2022 registration for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).

JAMB listed the affected centres to include Covenant Polytechnic, Centre 2, opposite Naval Base, Aba, Abia State and XYZ Technologies, New Secretariat, Umuahia, Abia State.

Others are: Rollings King Info Tech and Management Technology, Ikot Ikpene, Akwa Ibom State; Alsauda Global Investment Limited, Kawaji, Kano, and Success CBT Centre, College Road, Success Bus Stop, Lisaluwa, Ondo State.

JAMB also listed College of Education on Sokoto Road, Maru, Zamfara State, among the centres under watch. The board warned all its e-PIN vendors to monitor the activities of their agents, saying the board would not tolerate any fraudulent act.
