J-K Gadzama Celebrates With CLASON On Her 40th Anniversary And Annual Conference

*Says The Theme Captures The Position That Christian Lawyers Must Take

Chairman, Mentoring Committee of the Body of Benchers for Young Lawyers Pioneer, former Chairman Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law Chief J-k Gadzama, SAN, has hailed the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) on her 40th Anniversary as well as her conference.

CLASFON, began its 2021 Annual Conference on the 4th To 6th August, 2021 At Sfi Convention Centre, Nkpor, Umuoji Road, Onitsha, Anambra State with the themed “Behold Here I Stand”.

The Learned in his goodwill message said: “I heartily felicitate with the Executives and distinguished members of the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) on their 2021 National Conference and 40th Anniversary.

“I commend CLASFON for their consistency and steadfastness in investing in the lives of the Christian lawyers as well as the legal profession over the years and for organising this special conference which will feature a lot of interesting activities which are intended to cater for the spiritual and intellectual well-being of the adults, children and teens and even spouses!

“The theme of this event, ”Behold here I stand”, which is taken from 1 Samuel 12:3, is one that unequivocally captures the position that Christian lawyers must take.
“The verse relates to the Prophet Samuel who openly dared anyone to point an accusing finger at him if he had been found complicit in any social ill, and no single person could make any accusation.

“The same should be said of Christian lawyers as they are expected to hold the fort in righteousness and serve the course of justice.

“May the good Lord continue to guide, protect and sustain you as ambassadors of the Kingdom. Amen.”
