The annual Innovation Conference and Awards organized by the Intellectual Property Institute Nigeria will be held this year on the 14th December, 2022.

The event which will be themed “Innovation as a tool for Sustainable Development” will feature the presentation of Innovation Awards, the induction of Fellows of the Institute and presentation of certificates to successful graduands of the Institute’s Chartered Copyright, Trademarks and Patent and Designs Attorneys certification program.

The Rank of Fellow is awarded to Nigerians who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of intellectual property in Nigeria.

The event is scheduled to take place by 10:00 am on Wednesday 14th December, 2022.

In a statement issued by Mr. Femi Sedemogun, the Head of Admin, “Nigerian policy makers should take deliberate steps to invest in and promote inventors and innovators as a sustainable pathway to solving unemployment, youth restiveness, brain drain and a plethora of bandwagon ills facing the country.”
