The Nigerian Bar Association is requesting for the complete data of colleagues who paid their bar practicing fees as at 31st March 2019 but are now deceased.
This was made known to the legal community via a press statement signed by the Welfare Secretary, Joshua Enemali Usman.
According to the information disclosed, this is in view of the ongoing negotiations with Leadway Assurance Company Limited.

Dear distinguished Chairmen and Secretaries
MEMBERS INSURANCE
In view of the ongoing negotiations with Leadway Assurance Company Limited and the need to have complete data, therefore, I request you to please kindly confirm to me by Text, WhatsApp via 08036551963 or email: joshua.enemali@nigerianbar.org.ng, joshmali@yahoo.com the following information in regard to our colleagues who paid their 2019 Bar Practicing Fees at 31st March but are now deceased.
1. The full name of the deceased.
2. Date of Death
3. The Supreme Court Number of the deceased.
4. Evidence of payment of the 2019 Bar Practicing Fees,
5. The name of Next of Kin of our deceased colleague.
6. Death Certificate of the deceased.
7. Evidence of Payment of Branch dues.
Please note that these data are required to aid us in the conclusion of negotiations with the Insurance Company.
In addition, please send a formal letter (hard copy) to the President with same information and copy my office.
I shall be grateful if this information is availed to us not later than 5 pm on 18th September 2019.
