The International Law Association, Nigeria Branch, has announced the opening of applications for the 2026 edition of the Dr. Adesegun Akin-Olugbade, OON Scholarship Prize for the Study of International Law and Diplomacy.

The scholarship is designed to support young members of the association who are interested in advancing their knowledge of international law and diplomacy.

According to the notice, up to five young ILA members will benefit from free tuition to attend the Certificate Course in International Law and Diplomacy in Abuja.

The course is scheduled to hold from July 20 to July 24, 2026.

The association stated that only members of the International Law Association are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Interested candidates are required to send an application letter and curriculum vitae to info@ila-nigeria.org.ng.

The deadline for submission of applications is June 30, 2026.

The scholarship prize is named in honour of Dr. Adesegun Akin-Olugbade, OON, and forms part of ILA Nigeria’s efforts to encourage young professionals and scholars to deepen their expertise in international law, diplomacy and related fields.
