Mediation is one of the major Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms for the effective administration of Justice and amicable dispute resolution.

Mediation skills are life-skills for building and sustaining relationships and for assisting disputing parties in an assured, confident and professional manner. Individuals with the skills can also deploy same in strengthening their own relationships, helping to build better families and by extension, better societies.

Conflicts are a part of everyday life and it is important that we all equip ourselves with the necessary skills for effective dispute resolution.

The Institute pleased to inform you that the Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification course of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) in Katsina is scheduled to hold as follows:

Date: March 9-12, 2020

Venue: Katsina

Time: 9am-5pm daily

This course is a rich blend of legal and therapeutic disciplines, creating an inspiring learning experience. It offers a practical approach to dispute resolution and enables participants hone skills in human relations, which help to improve institutional performance and productivity.

It is a 4-day program but in 5 parts:

1) Theories

2) Practical sessions – Role plays

3) Accreditation Examination

4) Post Course Assignment

5) Induction Ceremony: Upon completion of the course, successful participants will be invited to the 2020 Induction Ceremony scheduled to hold December 1, 2020 where they will be inducted as Associate Members of the Institute.

Course fee: N150,000 (One hundred and fifty thousand Naira) only
