*Promises To Create An Innovative NBA Through Effective Communication If Elected

A past publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Benin City (Lion Bar) and Candidate for the office of the National Publicity Secretary, NBA , Ogaga Emoghwanre Esq AICMC has laid out his plan to ensure that if elected, speaking the truth to power will be a thing of consistency for the NBA.

In a manifesto statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Emoghwanre stated that if he is elected National Publicity Secretary, he intended to make it his responsibility as one of the executives of the NBA to ensure that truth was consistently spoken to power and authority of government and other institutions in Nigeria by the Bar. And that this would be done without any respect as to societal status.

“If elected as the National Publicity Secretary, I shall, as an officer of the NBA and member of the Executive Committee push for the NBA to consistently speak truth to government, its agencies, business, and other stakeholders in the Nigerian polity, irrespective of who is involved.” He stated.

He continued thus: “I will ensure that the views of the NBA in the above instances are communicated to the public in a manner that would convey the purpose intended. This, I am determined to do.”

You would recall that previously, Ogaga Emoghwanre had promised in his manifesto that if elected National Publicity Secretary, he intended to ensure an effective and efficient system of information dissemination as well as ensure a tidy integration of lawyers information to ensure its availability for anyone who wants it. Thus, speaking the truth to power is yet another plan by Emoghwanre to create an innovative NBA brand through effective communication.
