Mbamala, made the call in a message to Christian lawyers in the country on the celebration of Easter, and said that the resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolised in Easter, remained a turning point in the lives of Christians.
He said “Today, world over, the Christendom commemorate God’s ultimate love for mankind which Christ sacrificed through His passion on the Cross.
“At resurrection, Christ brings us a new life, new forgiveness and a new hope for a better future. His resurrection is our true redemption.
“Word over we are faced with security challenges (my town Awo-Idemili in Orsu LGA is hard hit, there seem to be no solution by those in power) Other challenges are hardship, hunger, unemployment, suicides and bad governance.
“Easter offers us that hope and assurance that we can overcome these difficulties.
“The risen Christ is the key to open all doors and have a new life and good governance.
“May this season brings you and your family peace, joy, happiness and victory Amen
“Happy Easter.”
